My research focuses on the nature of mental disorders, the boundary between normality and pathology, and the notion of vulnerability – i.e., being “at-risk” of developing a mental disorder. I am also interested in the role that some cognitive and affective aspects (executive functions, flexibility, and core affect in particular) play in mental conditions such as autism, schizophrenia, and depression.
